Former CAP Student Aspires to be a Doctor

Vernicia Winford, a former CAP student, is currently studying Pre-Med at Xavier University in New Orleans.  During her winter break, Vernicia did not spend her days relaxing like most college students.  Instead, thanks to Mr. Bailey, arrangements were made for her to shadow Dr. Dickerson, a local cardiologist.  This was a wonderful experience for Vernicia and only reaffirmed her aspirations to go into the medical field.  Way to go, Vernicia!! We are so proud of you!!
