Donate Funds to CAP  

Donations from individuals, churches, civic organizations, corporate sponsors, and foundations make it possible for Children Are People, Inc. to provide its services free of charge.  Without your support, we may not be able to continue offering this much needed service free of charge. Children who need us the most are often the least able to afford a fee-based service. Please do your part to help keep Children Are People, Inc. accessible to everyone. CAP is a 501(c)3 organization.

Help with Meals

There are several ways to help with meals at Children Are People.  We offer a hot, nutritious meal each afternoon for nearly 80 children.  For some, this is the only way they will get a hot meal for dinner.  There are several ways you can help with this project. 

1) Join with your church group or an organization to fund one dinner per month.  Depending on your group size, this would only be about $2-$3 per month per person. 

2) Do you like to cook?! If so, join with some friends and prepare a meal once per month for us. You are also more than welcome to come and serve.  This is a great way to come and meet the students of CAP but of course not required. 

3) SPREAD THE WORD!  Share this page with your friends on Facebook.  Tell all your friends at work.  Spread the word at church.  You never know who is looking for ways to give back. 

4) You may also just simply donate to our Meal Fund.  This can be done as a one-time gift, on a weekly basis, or on a monthly basis.  It is completely up to you and we are appreciative of any/all gifts donated.

Hold a Fund-Raising Event

We invite you to do a fund-raising event to benefit Children Are People – big or small! Church and civic groups, clubs, schools, businesses and individuals can help their neighbors in Sumner County by doing a fund-raising project and donating that money to Children Are People.
