CAP Students LOVE The Predators

On Saturday, February the 16th, our middle school class headed to Bridgestone Arena to watch the Predators take on the Anaheim Ducks. All 15 kids had an amazing time! Experiences such as these will last a lifetime. A big THANK YOU to David Linzy, President and CEO of LPS Integration for providing their suite for our students!

Dale Carnegie Training Comes to CAP

This past Saturday was the start of our 2013 DALE CARNEGIE course for our Middle and High school students. This is an amazing program from which all young people can benefit. We are proud to partner with Dale Carnegie Training of Nashville and the Gap Foundation to bring this program to our students at no charge. Here's some information on what the program is....

Generation.Next is designed to prepare young people for the real world. It gives them the skills they need to reach their goals and live up to their full potential - at school, home, and work.
This exciting, intensive, three-week seminar is designed to challenge and inspire your youth. Each week we will unpack Dale Carnegie’s principles through a series of challenges. Each week builds on the one previous, so it is imperative that each participant attends every session.

  - In Week One, we focus on the essential elements needed to build relationships as we stretch and strengthen our public speaking...g and presentation skills.

- In Week Two we turn our attention to teamwork and hone our abilities to gain the willing cooperation of others through clear, focused communication.

- In Week Three we have opportunities to demonstrate leadership through showing genuine appreciation toward others and flexibility exercises.
